Project: Bank of Ireland (Digital Branch)
Project Role: Creative Designer
Application: Digital / Interactive
Reinvignorate the Bank of Ireland communications strategy and bring them into
the 21st century. Delivering state-of-the-art digital experiences to help communicate their
products and services and create a blueprint for the retail banking branch of the future.
DUBLIN CITY UNIVERSITY BRANCH
The first flagship branch, opened in August 2013. Aimed specifically at students
with communications centred around benefits, local initiatives and student services. It blended
banking communications with campus communications, such as events and sport teams.
I was the lead designer on this project, delivering all of the designs which were displayed in-branch.
It involved working to an incredibly tight deadline to deliver communications which spanned large scale displays
all the way down to individual tablets for customers.
THE RESULT
DCU students and staff now have a state-of-the-art Bank of Ireland branch in the heart of campus.
Open plan with open doors, it makes the banking experience more accessible, from screen-filled walls,
sharing information and encouraging engagement.
